I love that quote. . . Hi, thanks for the visit. My name is Bud Mullins and I am the owner of Touch-Up Unlimited and this site. In this introduction of Touch-Up Unlimited and myself, I would like to share one of the ups and downs with you that happened in my life.
In life, despite our best efforts, we sometimes struggle. When we make measure of our success, the strength of our character is determined by what we learn from and do with those failures. The greatest accomplishment I have had in life is that I never gave up on striving for success. Even when other efforts failed, I somehow managed to make way for new challenges.
What a lesson this can be. I left my home state of Kentucky and returned to Oklahoma in 1977 and continued in home construction and built a very successful remodeling business. However, in the early 1980's, the oil industry began it's bust and by 1984 had gone so far down that more than 200 companies, in our state alone, filed for bankruptcy during 1984. Fortunately, my company had enough money to pay out of debt without having to file bankruptcy as most businesses did that closed their doors during that period.
Before the doors closed on my old business I was already mapping out the structure of the next. In November of 1984, the name "Touch-Up Unlimited" was chosen for the name of my new adventure. Little did I know of the struggles, the trials and errors that lie ahead. I was willing to work through them because I felt the grass was greener on the other side of the fence. It was indeed GREENER!
Touch-Up Unlimited is a manufacturing company. We manufacture quality touch up paint for various industries to include, the siding industry, steel building industry, machinery and related industries such as gutters and accessory companies. We are proud to report that we have been providing products and services to these industries for more than thirty years.
Our product line has grown in our thirty plus years to accommodate the industries we serve. Our customer list has grown from one to more than five hundred nationwide. Our products find themselves in many foreign countries via the building material exporters. We have many sizes of touch up paint products packaged in different package styles. We also provide custom services to many individual company's that require different package styles other than our standard products. Also, to those who would have their own product packaged in our packaging plant. We offer filling services to those who have their own oil base products and require those products to be aerosolized.
Our company was founded by a former siding contractor/applicator and siding company owner. Being a siding company owner and applicator, he was closely associated with the siding industry and it's needs. Identifying the need for touch up paint in the industry, he started this company in 1984 and designed a product and provided a service to meet those needs. After our long length of service to the industry, we are proud to say "Thank you for being our customers." Without your realization that our products filled the gap that plagued the industry, we would not be in business today.
Our pledge to you has always been, we work with wholesale houses of all sizes. We provide to our customers a few bottles or thousands of bottles. We provide a top of the line service that is second to none.
